We have trail riding just 90 minutes from Toronto, for riders 6 years old and up. Trail rides are open 7 days per week, year round.
We offer the best Trail Riding in Southern Ontario. Get away from cities like Hamilton, Buffalo and Toronto and trail ride on quiet, peaceful trails. Lose your stress as you travel through over 300 acres of winding paths and peaceful woods; viewing wildlife in its natural state. Learn about the different plant and animal species native to this area. On your horse ride, view an interesting array of fossils from 380 million years ago that are found in the abandoned quarries.
Our knowledgeable and experienced guides provide you with plenty of information about the area you ride through as well as the horses you ride. Prior horseback riding experience is not necessary, our trail rides are designed for the comfort of beginner horse riders. We are open 7 days per week, year round! SPRING / SUMMER HOURS
Sunset Trail RidesThese beautiful rides last 1- 1/2 hours and cost $50 per person , reservations are required. These rides travel through the quiet trails and finish as you watch the sun set over the still waters of the lake or quarry. Riders must be at least 9 years of age to go on this ride unless booking a private ride. Make it a private ride for an additional $75. Family Cookout Trail RideThis private ride lasts approximately 2 - 1/2 hours and travels along the quiet trails and the beach along Lake Erie. This ride is suitable for ages 6 years and up and perfect for both beginner riders and advanced. The package is based on four riders and the cost is $395. Additional riders are $75 each. Riders must be at least six years of age to go on this ride. Now Half Day Cookout RidesThis half day ride (approximately four hours) allows you to explore the wonderful area through the various waterways of the conservation area and Lake Erie. Stop and go for a dip while you wait for the perfect campfire to roast hot dogs and marshmallows on. Reservations required. $125 per person. Riders must be at least 9 years of age to go on this ride unless booking a private ride. Make it a private ride for an additional $200. Romantic Private RidesOur romantic evening includes a Trail ride along the beach as well as a picnic basket with all kinds of goodies to savor as you watch the sun go down over the still waters of the quarry. Two hour outing includes picnic lunch and a discreet guide. $295 Reservations required. Romantic Engagement PackagesWhat a way to start the rest of your lives together! Some things you may see on the trail this week: Deer, Coyote, Fox, Rabbits, Hawks, Squirrels Trumpeter Swans, Canada Geese, Northern Mocking Bird, Hidden nesting sites of a variety of birds. Rides operate rain, shine or snow with cancellations made for severe weather conditions only. Cancellation policy: Reservations may be changed or cancelled up to 24 hours in advance of the scheduled ride for a full refund minus a $10 service charge. We are conveniently located in Niagara, along Lake Erie just minutes from Long Beach, Sherkston, Port Colborne, and Welland. We are a short 30 minute drive from St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Grimsby. Hamilton is 60 minutes and from the Exhibition grounds in Toronto we are a 90 minute drive. For our visitors from Western New York, we are a 30 minute drive from the Peace Bridge in Buffalo and Fort Erie.
